How to get sexy summertime bedhead

Creating volume and perfectly imperfect waves in your hair is easy when you have a two inch curling iron in your hair arsenal.  The large barrel gives you the power that you need to play around with your style and invoke that sexy version of bedhead - perfect for the summertime.

To help your hair maintain that extra oomph, use your favorite volumizing mousse on your damp hair. Work the mousse through evenly and then blow your hair dry.  Once it is completely dry, divide your hair into one and two inch sections all over.  This will give your hair that edgy, slightly messy curl.  Wrap the sections around the 2 inch barrel and hold for five seconds.  Repeat all over until every section has gotten a little love.  Spray your hair with a strong hair spray and then let it set for about thirty minutes.  Put on your makeup, get dressed, walk the dog - you know, do what you got to do.  Once your hair has set in its perfectly coiffed curls for a half hour, go ahead and start finger combing through the curls just to loosen them up and get a little casual.  If you want to really pump up the volume and lose the curl, brush through with a paddle brush.  Whichever look you’re going for, you’re bound to get some attention!
