Courtney Love Proves the Power of the Curling Iron

Who is the svelte minx in the red Calvin Klevin gown at the Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps premiere? Surely it can’t be perpetual trainwreck Courtney Love! Or can it? If this red carpet makeover is any indication, Courtney seems to have gotten her act together once more - thanks in no small part to her beautiful loose waves. Surely C.Lo has her pick of professional curling irons, but I reckon that a 2 inch curling iron was used to give her a look that’s more wavy than curly.

Of course, the bigger the barrel, the looser your curls will be. While a 1″ curling iron is the standard for “regular” curls, irons with barrels that are 1 1/2″ or larger offer an easy shortcut to sexy waves that would make Brigitte Bardot herself jealous. (Okay, maybe not.) Just make sure your hair is completely dry first, curl hair in small sections, and finish with a lightweight spray to set the style without weighing down your locks. Hey, if Courtney can do it, so can you!
